Dear Citizen of Garfield County:

As I have become more and more concerned about the economy and the direction our country is headed, I decided to take action by joining the race for Garfield County Commissioner on the Republican ticket in District 1.  I was recently endorsed by the Garfield County Republican Party, and I hope I can gain your support as well.

As a 3rd generation Coloradoan, I grew up in Sterling, and have lived and worked in Garfield County as the General Manager of Sunlight Mountain Resort since 1985.  I am a fiscally conservative businessman, with a proven track record and a strong background in both accounting and the budget process.  I will bring a much needed business perspective to the commission.  In addition, I will be an asset to the county because I am in a position to give the time necessary to fulfill the duties of commissioner.
